Dermal redensification helps to fill out loose or sagging skin and eliminate wrinkles whilst producing a soft, natural finish that does not appear excessively taut. This is different to Botox and dermal filler, as facial structures will not be altered. Instead, healthy skin is promoted.
Redensity 1 is an innovative hyaluronic acid based injectable, designed to prevent premature ageing, restore skin density and maintain a healthy glow. It is an award-winning product which is composed of ingredients typically found in the skin and acts as an overall enhancer and revitalizer.
The Teoxane range of dermal fillers are uniquely manufactured to recoil and spring back to their original shape when subject to facial dynamics or compressions. This sounds scientific, but this resilient behaviour provides a natural looking result, as the product is able to move and stretch as your face moves and expresses.
In our skin, hyaluronic acid (HA) is already present in large quantities and has a significant ability to attract and bind water molecules.
HA is important for maintaining structure and volume, and, as such, HA dermal fillers are one of the most popular anti-ageing injectable treatments available to address age-related changes in skin quality and appearance - replacing collagen as the ingredient of choice in rejuvenation and volume restoration.
Redensifying treatments are designed to protect and prolong your skin’s youthfulness and in a single session, Teoxane can help to target these 3 areas and concerns:
A treatment with Redensity 1 consists of dermal injections over the surface of the whole face, neck and / or décolleté. For optimum comfort throughout treatment, Redensity 1 contains lidocaine, which is a local anaesthetic.
Most patients notice little downtime and it is possible to book a treatment on your lunch break, for example. However, some side effects, such as redness and slight swelling may appear and are most often temporary and common.
For optimal results, a treatment plan of 3 sessions at 3-week intervals is recommended, with results lasting around 9 months. For maintenance, 1 session every 4 - 6 months thereafter is ideal. However, the effects are temporary and depend on several factors, including skin type, condition, the treated area and injection technique.
